Mr. Dean James Wise of Samson passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009 in Samson. He was 15. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2009, in the First Baptist Church of Samson. Burial will follow in the Reese Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2009 in the sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Samson, Alabama.

Dean was born January 31, 1994 in Coffee County. He was a 9th grade student at Samson High School. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tracy Michelle Wise; grandparents, Alfred White; Bobby and Anita Wise; great-grandparents, Hubert & Virginia White and Mary Lou & James Berry Dean; a cousin, Caleb Wise; and his uncle, Ed Armstrong.
