He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Judy Alford.
He is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. B.R. Nichols of Cedar Rapids, IA; one brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Warner Alford of Oxford, MS; nephews and nieces, Mr. and Mrs. James Shelton, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Fitsik and Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy Jones, all of the Minneapolis, MN area; Mr. and Mrs. Swayze Alford, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Alford, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Alford, III and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Daniels, all of Oxford, MS and nine great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service in celebration of the life of Charles Chandler Alford will be held Friday at Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home in McComb at 2PM with Father Brian Kaskie officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held immediately following the services at the funeral home.
