Hubert D. Eilers, 72, of Delavan died Monday, March 2, 2009 at his residence.
He was born January 29, 1937 in Chandlerville to Martin D. and Irene R. Smith Eilers. He married Bernice Lehmkuhl on January 8, 1959 in Denver, CO, and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, DuWayne (Dorjlkham) Eilers and Dr. James (Debbie) Eilers, both of Scottsdale, AZ; and two daughters, Helen Curley of Hanna City and Colette (Duane) Sutton of Delavan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Anthony Joseph Eilers, one brother and one sister.
Hubert worked at Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria in skilled trades, retiring in 1985.
He served in the United States Air Force.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Delavan.
