Went to be with the Lord on September 7, 2005. Earl was born October 6, 1909 on the family farm at Tyler, WA to John and Rosanna Betz. He graduated from Tyler High School where he was a star on the High School basketball team. Earl had two brothers and five sisters. He raised turkeys with his parents on the Tyler farm. After the turkey market faded, Earl worked on a dairy farm near Sprague, WA. On retirement, Earl returned to the family farm at Tyler where he spent many years helping a nephew with the farming. Earl was a member of the Cheney Church of the Nazarene and a 76-year member of Tyler Grange. One brother, Jerold Betz, Cheney, and numerous nieces and nephews survive him.
