Bernadine Marie Bell, age 85, peacefully passed to her eternal home on September 21, 2001. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother to 26 and great-grandmother to 33. She was born July 30, 1916 in Ontario, Wisconsin, to Frank and Mabel Rankins. Married Aug. 30, 1935 to Frank Eugene Bell and lived and raised their family in Janesville, before moving to Sun City, Arizona in 1986. She is rejoicing in heaven to be with her Lord and Savior, and reunited with her grandaughter Gail Reddy (10/7/86) and her daughter-in-law, Barbara Bell (8/5/98), mother and father and her 6 brothers: (Keith,Dearold, Garland, Darius, Hurless and Wilfred). Her husband of 66 years, Frank Eugene Bell and her 10 children survive her: Joyce (Donald) Lostetter of Janesville, Buddy Bell of Sun City, AZ, Janith Swain of Sun City, AZ, Jeanette (Floyd) Reddy of Sun City, AZ, Grant (Carol) Bell of Grand Prairie, TX, Grace (Thomas) France of Stoughton, WI,Gloria (Albert) Roehl of Glendale, AZ, Bruce Bell of Louisville, KY, Bryon (Charlotte)Bell of Bardstown, KY and Susan (John) Davis of Peoria, AZ; and a special sister-in-law, Joanne Rankins and a loving companion, TAD. Her favorite pastimes were bowling, bridge and circle of friends. She belonged to the Lakeview United Methodist Church in Sun City and the Eastern Star in Janesville. She will always be remembered by her devotion and love she instilled upon her family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Fri., Sept. 28, 2001, in SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME, Janesville, with Wade Reddy officiating. Burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park.
