SIGRID EMILIA MEISTER Went to to be with the Lord March 6, 2009 in Riverside, California at the age of 100 years.
Born October 3, 1908 in Dunnell, Minnesota to Adolph T. Forstrom and Esther A. Peterson Forstrom. Sigrid moved to Riverside, CA with her husband in 1960, and was an active member of Grace Baptist Church. They later moved to Desert Hot Springs where she was an active member of the First Baptist Church there. She returned to Riverside after her husband's death and has resided since then at Magnolia Village and became a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Meister is survived by her loving children, Allan and his wife Shirley Meister of Riverside, CA and LaVonne and her husband and Norman Kittlerson of Minnesota. Five grandchildren and spouses, Terry and Melinda Meister of Riverside, CA, Kathy and George Williams of Moreno Valley, CA, Mark and Judy Kittleson of Davis, CA, Marilyn and Loren Deling, Scott and Margie Kittleson, all of Minnesota. Twelve great-grandchildren, Alex and Anna Meister, Shawn and Brian Melin, Sahley and Natalie Kittleson, Bryce and Lindsay Deling, Kyle and Marissa Kittleson and Aaron and Great Williams. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Kenneth, one sister and one brother.
Family and friends may gather for viewing Fri., March 13, 2009 from 6pm til 8pm. Graveside service will be conducted Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 11:30am in Olivewood Memorial Park with a Celebration of Life Service following at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 5545 Alessandro Blvd., Riverside, CA.
