Some interesting information from Larry Yow ELD. stands for Elder.

Francis (Preacher Frank) Dunn

Died 09-11-1896
He was the son of Joesph & Catherine Dunn

Josephine (Donathan) Dunn
Born 1840
Died 1908
she was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin & Sarah (Lloyd) Donathan

Josephine was the second wife of Frank.
"On the first morning of June, Josephine Donathan took a light and looked in the bottom of an open well before sunrise. She said she saw the reflection of a man with a beard, holding a Bible under his arm and he was tying up a horse. When Josephine went to Church that next Sunday, there was Preacher Frank with his Bible under his arm, and Josephine thought this was the man she was supposed to marry, and that's just what she did. We don't know if Frank had much to say about this matter."

"The Jessie James gang had gone somewhere east of the Charleston area and robbed a bank or train. One of the gang members got shot in the leg, and the bone was broken. Jessie, Frank, and the other gang members hid out in an old cabin just west of where Preacher Frank was living. Preacher Frank was supposed to have sold them supplies and shod their horses while they were hiding from the law. One day, "Father Frank," as Jessie called him, told Jessie that the Bible said that you were supposed to earn your living by the sweat of your brow. Jessie told Preacher Frank that when you had every last cent you had in the middle of a poker table and was about to loose it, that this was earning your living by the sweat of your brow"

Frank was also a good farmer & blacksmith.
