Fred E. Collins, 62, Died Last Night at 10:45 at his home in Piercefield.....
Funeral arrangements, which are being handled frome the Deshatv(sic) Funeral Parlors here, are indefinite, pending word from his son, Marshall Collins, in Newfoundland.
He was born at Cape St. Ignace,P.Q., on March 28, 1882, the son of Mr. & Mrs Charles Collins.
His parents moved to Tupper Lake when he was nine years of age.
Forty years ago he was married here to Miss Deleska Toupin, who survives. They made thier home at Piercefield for about the past 38 years, where he was employed by the International Paper Co.
Surviving, besides his wife are five sons; Marshall. of Cornet Brook, Nfd.; Lester, of St. Louis,Mo.; Pfc. Lionel Collins, somewhere in Italy; Chief Petty Officer Lorenzo Collins, USNR, now on sea duty, and Gilbert Collins, Plattsburg; one brother, Louis Collins, Piercefield, and a sister, Mrs. Georgianna Bernier of Exeter, NH.
