DIAMOND, Mo. - Funeral services for Mrs. May A. Palmer. 80 years old, Diamond, who died at 9:30 o'clock Monday night at the McCune-Brooks hospital, Carthage, will be at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the Silver Moon Full Gospel church, south of Diamond. The Rev. Fred Franks will officiate. Burial will be in the Diamond cemetery under the direction of the Clark funeral home of Neosho. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Jackson, Delbert Thompson, Leslie Thompson, Tommy Joens, Stanley Edens and Tobe Edens. Mrs. Palmer was born June 20, 1887, in Terre Haute, Ind., and had lived in Diamond for the past 28 years, moving here from California. She was a member of the West Union Church of Christ, east of Diamond. Survivors include five sons, Harry Jones, the state of California, Louie Jones, the state of Washington, Charles Palmer, Marine City, Mich., G. F. (Bud) Palmer, Diamond and Clarence Palmer, Tacoma, Wash.; a daughter, Mrs. Ollie Thompson, Wellington, Kan.; a brother, W. D. Anderson, Joplin; a sister. Mrs. Bessie Hough, Neosho route 5; 40 grandchildren and 86 great-grandchildren.
