John Joshua Boyet was born to James R. Boyet and Sarah "Sally" E. Heflin, November 5, 1876 in Dubberly, Webster Parish, Louisiana. He died August 3, 1914 in Ringgold, Bienville Parish, Louisiana.
His father, James R. Boyet was born June 12, 1847 in Marion, Georgia and died November 3, 1882 in Webster Parish, Louisiana. Sarah "Sally" E. Heflin was born September 19, 1850 in Kinchafoona District, Marion, Georgia and died September 12, 1887. James and Sarah "Sally" E. Heflin married January 14, 1869 in Bienville Parish, Louisiana.
John Joshua Boyet married Fannie Leola Perry from Bienville Parish, Louisiana. From this union three children were born, James Elwood, Opie Reed and Claude Elmo Boyet.
John died at age 37 leaving behind his wife and children. Ola worked very hard to maintain a home for her children. Her children also, worked hard helping their mother.
Pleasant Grove Church was their home church. Their family lived in this area and was very faithful to God and their fellow man. You will find that lots of this family are buried in this church cemetery.
