"Private funeral services for Earl R. Bloomquist, 72, Humboldt, will be held at a later date, with the Mason--Lindhart Funeral Home of Humboldt in charge of the arrangements. He died Saturday, Jan 18, 2003, at the Villa Care Center in Fort Dodge.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Norman Plante of Concord, NH; son and daughter-in-law Doug and Linda Bloomquist of Bondurant; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister Eleanor Halliday of Humboldt; and a brother Norman Bloomquist of Duncombe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Grace (Schultz) Bloomquist; his wife, Dawn; son, Kerry; sisters, Fern Warland and Norma Clark; and brothers, Harold and Donald Bloomquist."
