Michael Higgins, age 11, died Saturday, November 11, 2000 as a result of an accidental gunshot wound.
He is survived by his parents, Lisa and Tommy Higgins; a brother, Robbie Earnest; grandparents, Margie Earnest, James and Peggy Heidelberg and Thomas Roy Higgins, Sr.; great-grandparents, Stella Higgins, Essie Lantrip, and Eloise Devaney; aunts and uncles, Bo and Tammy Evans, Jon and Susan Higgins, Melvin and Sandy Minor, Pam Earnest, and Kenny Earnest; numerous cousins, including Emily Earnest, Bruce Minor, and Chris Minor; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Adron Earnest.
He was well-loved by all those who knew him.
Services were 2 pm, Monday, November 13, 2000 at the Okolona Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Randy Lewman & Bro. Jim Jaggers officiating.
Interment was in Boone's Chapel Cemetary.
