Venida "Billye" (Blockcolski) Hancock Harvey, age 81, of OKC, formerly of Eden, NC, went to be with her Lord on March 5, 2009. Venida was born August 26, 1927 in Laverne, OK to Ernest and Susie (Hubbard) Blockcolski. She was the last of eight children, and was also preceded by her husbands, R. A. Bob Hancock in 1963 and Archie Harvey Jr. in 1991, 2 sons, Robert "Butch" Hancock, Paul Hancock 2 granddaughters, Cheryl Wyatt and Courtney Harvey.

She is survived by a son, Gayen Hancock and wife Rita of OKC 3 daughters, Marcia Young, Patricia Fisher and husband Roger, and Jana Harvey all of Eden, NC 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She loved children and taught Sunday School at the Spray Baptist Church in Eden, N.C.

The family would like to thank the staff at Lackey Manor Nursing Center for their loving care, the staff at Integris Baptist Medical Center ER, and 7 W Nursing Staff.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baptist Village Nursing Center Activity Fund or Valir Hospice. Services to celebrate her life will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday, March 10th at Buchanan Funeral Service Chapel, with interment at 3:00 PM in the IOOF Cemetery in Indiahoma, OK.
