Lucille Chamberlain, 81, of Barling died Friday, March 6, 2009, in Van Buren. She was born March 19, 1927, in McKinney, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Freewill Baptist Church.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Central Freewill Baptist Church in Central City with burial at Steep Hill Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith.

She is survived by five daughters, Linda Belt of Barling, Karen White, Ann Brown and Carol Parsons, all of Fort Smith, and Lavonne Thomas of Tulsa; three sons, Robert Chamberlain of Mena, Michael Chamberlain of Van Buren and Ed Chamberlain of Kibler; three sisters, Londez Harris and Bobbie Martin, both of Lavaca, and Reba Demaree of Cave Springs; four brothers, Wallace Chronister of Central City, Harold Chronister of Little Rock and Wayne and Billy Chronister, both of Lavaca; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
