Both of her parents died in 1908, and by the time of the 1910 U.S. census she and her younger sister Daisy were living with their older sister Neal Beall and brother-in-law William Oscar Garrison, in Dallas, Texas.
By the 1920 census, Emma was still teaching high school, but living in Montana, on a farm with her sister Daisy and brother-in-law Omar Lee Browning.
Emma was never married and did not have any descendants. I am the closest living relative since her sister Neal Beall Braswell Garrison is my great grandmother.
