Henry A. Berg, 57, a machinist at the Logansport Machine company, died suddenly of a heart attack at 6:47 o'clock Tuesday morning. Stricken as he entered the plant, Mr. Berg was rushed in the Chase-Miller ambulance to Memorial hospital. where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Coroner M. B. Stewart investigated and said there would he no inquest. Born in Logansport on May 28, 1892, the deceased was the son of Henry and Christine (Arnold) Berg. He was a member of the St. James Lutheran church and resided at 401 West Linden avenue.

Survivors include: the wife, Martha; four daughters; Mrs. Dorothy Bennett, of Lancaster, 0.; Mrs. Eleanor Babb and Mrs. Marilyn Whiteman, of Logansport; and Mrs. Betty Suchin, of Indianapolis; five grandchildren: three brothers, Walter and William of Logansport; and Frederick of Indianapolis: three sisters; Mrs. Chalmer Werick and Mrs. Krieda Houk, of Logansport; and Mrs. Marie Nelson, rural route, Walton.

Final rites will be conducted at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Chase-Miller chapel with the Rev. B. S. Schumacher officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
