FRANCIS — Services for Ted Custer Bailey, 85, Francis, are 10 a.m. Friday at
Criswell Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Dennis Tate and Richard Bailey officiating.
Burial follows at Oakman Cemetery.

Mr. Bailey died July 22, 2003, at an Allen nursing facility. He was born Sept.
4, 1917, at Spaulding to Morgan and Martha Doyle Bailey.

Beginning in June 1942, he was a Frisco Railroad Employee, serving as a
brakeman and retiring as a conductor after 36 years of service.

He and Dorothy Horn were married May 23, 1947, at Columbus, Kan.

Mr. Bailey was a member of Homer Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph E. Bailey, James E. Bailey
and Steve A. Bailey; five sisters, Blanche Hayes, Maggie Bailey, Irene Morgan,
Katie Adams and Agnes Barker; and a grandson, Randy Stovall.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Bailey, of the home; three sons, Richard
Bailey and wife Cinda, Joe Bailey and wife Debra, all of Allen, Steve Bailey
and wife Beverly, Tulsa; two daughters, Sandra Wilson and husband Carol,
Francis, Virginia Holcomb and husband Ervin, Baskin, La.; a brother, Earnest
R. Bailey, Tulsa; 14 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Bearers are Rick Bailey, Robb Bailey, Ryan Bailey, Matthew Maxwell, John
Wilson and Timothy Wilson.

Honorary bearers are John Stovall and Steven Stovall.
