Funeral services for Willis Raymond Leatherwood, 76, of Jacksboro were conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday April 30 in the Mountain Home Baptist Church with Rev. Vernon Rodgers officiating. Burial, under the direction of Maddox Funeral Home, was in the Mountain Home Cemetery.

Born September 8, 1912 in Jack County, Leatherwood married Roberta Creager April 25, 1955 in Perrin. He was a member of the Mountain Home Baptist Church and a 19 year employee at Jacksboro Feed Mill before his retirement. He died Friday, April 28, 1989.

He was preceded in death by one son. Harold Leatherwood in 1967, and by two brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Roberta Leatherwood of Jacksboro; two sons, Jimmie Leatherwood of Fort Worth and Robert Leatherwood of Jacksboro; two daughters, Jo Ann Honeycutt of Hughes Springs, Texas and Anna Nail of Jacksboro; 8 grandchildren, Twanna Cosper, Chad Leathewood, Cheryl Leatherwood, Crystal Gilbreath, Tink Mote, Missy Farley, Brent Nail and Bryce Nail; and 3 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Donnie Leatherwood, Ronny Leatherwood, Ricky Leatherwood, Sammy Leatherwood, Gerald Leatherwood, Donnie Gene Epperson, Ricky Don Epperson, Drew Epperson, and Tim Coufal
