Jewel Marie Akers Morrow, was born in Marion County, Ala., to the late Henry Clay Akers and Bessie Green Akers, Mrs. Morrow was also preceded in death by her husband, John Victor Morrow who died in July of 1987; one son, Billy Gene Morrow who died in January of 1989; two sisters; and two brothers. Mrs. Morrow was a homemaker and a member of Wayside Baptist Church. She loved gardening and flowers, and she loved her grandchildren.
Mrs. Morrow is survived by children, Donald, Don and Susan ; one sister, Faye; six grandchildren, Tim, Beth, Michael, Jason, LeeAnna and Sam ; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
