She was the daughter of the late George Adkins (1877-1965) and Julia Adkins (1888-1969)
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Roy Graley; brothers, Lonnie, Fred and William Adkins; and nephew, Dale McCallister, whom Ruby raised.
Ruby was a homemaker, a member of Peoples Baptist Church, Scott Depot, and attended Bethel Community Chapel, Charleston.
She is survived by her four sisters, Genevieve M. Salisbury of Dunbar, Hilda Arthur of Bluefield, Virginia, Beatrice Groff of Arkansas and Gertrude Young of Liberty; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 9, at Curry Funeral Home 2097, Childress Road, Alum Creek, with Pastor Oshel Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Adkins Cemetery, Charleston.Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service.
The family request that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Bethel Community Chapel, Woodward Drive, Charleston, WV 25312.
