Fulton, Nov. 9 - Monroe Stubblefield, 69 years old, died this week at the home of his sister, Mrs. James Chiles, south of New Bloomfield. Mr. Stubblefield suffered a sever stroke of paralysis about two years ago, and had since had several other strokes, the final one this week causing his death. Funeral services and burial took place at Union Hill Baptist church at Holt Summit. Mr. Stubblefield was born in Calloway and lived in that section of the county the greater part of his life. He taught in the schools at both New Bloomfield and Holt Summit for some years. he lived in St. Louis for a time, returning to New Bloomfield after his first paralysis stroke. Surviving are his widow, the former Miss Hannah Orchard, three sone and a daughter, all of whom live in St Louis. Mrs. R. R. Dunn of Cedar City is a sister.
