He was born August 31, 1896, a son of AARON and SARAH REICK LUSHEN. He served as an elder for Peters Creek United Presbyterian Church from 1936 to 1964 and for some time as school director and secretary of the church board. He is survived by his wife, JENNIE BAIRD LUSHEN; a daughter, MRS. HAROLD (MARTHA) ROTHAAR of Peters Township; two grandsons, ROY and PETER ROTHAAR; a brother, WILBUR LUSHEN of Peters Township; and eight nieces and nephews.
