Mary Louzada Voeller
Year of birth? The Census records were difficult to read.
The 1900 Census says Mary was born in Jun 1951 or 1957. The tombstone photographer reports that the birth year on the tombstone reads 1862.

Mary (Louzada) Voeller was the daughter of James Louzada and his Hawaiian wife, Kapuu. James owned the first sugar cane plantation on Maui. Henry Cornwell, his brother-in-law, went into partnership with him.

Mary Louzada married Paul Joseph Voeller on 5 Dec 1887 in Hawaii. They had five children:

1) Joseph Voeller born in Dec. 1885
2) Fred Cranert Voeller born 7 Dec 1884
3) Annabelle Florence Voeller born 4 Feb 1893
4) Pauline Mae (or Mary) Voeller born 13 Dec 1894
5) James Skyler Voeller born 9 Feb 1898.

Paul Voeller owned a grocery store at one point on the corner of Hotel and Fort streets in Honolulu. It went out of business in 1896. Paul went to San Francisco at that time and does not appear to have ever returned. He died in San Francisco, California 10 Aug 1941.
