McKeesport Daily News, Friday Evening, December 17, 1943:
WILLIAM BARRICKMAN
William "King" Barrickman 68, of Fourth St., Morton Plan Mifflin Township died yesterday at noon in his home following a long illness.
Surviving are his wife, Effie Dagger Barrickman, a daughter Mrs. Norine Phillips of Morton Plan; two brothers James of Dravosburg and Ed of Glassport; one sister, Mrs. May Boyer of Dravosburg and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Berkey`s Funeral Home and burial will follow in Versailles Cemetery.
He was born in Parkers` Landing, Pa., the son of the late Peter Snyder and Theresa Blatchford Barrickman, and was a life-long resident of the vicinity. He was a carpenter and caulker at the Marine Ways, Elizabeth.
