Child of William Richard Bedell. The same as John (Kennon?) Bedell, who shares a grave with sister Emmie. The inscription doesn't have dates for either of them, the dates posted on Find A Grave came from a family member or researcher and don't seem quite accurate. There's no burial record associated with his supposed dates (born and died July 13, 1873), so someone misremembered the year. Emmie's dates (July 26, 1879--July 31, 1879) are problematic as well, since the sexton record says that was a stillborn child, buried on July 29, 1879.

The sexton record for this burial in 1874 doesn't say what lot the grave is in, just that it's in city Section 1. Dolores Autry's Historic Linwood Cemetery book, edited by Dowd and others, shows this child unmarked in Lot 72 of Autry's Section B, where the parents have marked graves. This is wrong. John and Emmie's marked grave is in the same lot with their maternal grandparents (Ware) in Autry A-99. The middle names posted on Find A Grave for these children (Kennon for John and Stewart for Emmie) are also not sourced and may be in error.
