Native of Spartanburg Co.; son of the late George and Elsie Morris Mittag; member of Glendale United Methodist Church; World War 11 veteran; kiln car repairman for 26 years for Kohler Co. Also surviving: son, Randall L. Mittag of the home; daughters, Robin E. Buckland and Sheryl M. Stepp of Spartanburg; brothers, Thomas, Raeford and Dalton Mittag of Glendale; one grandchild. Services 1:30 Wednesday at Glendale United Methodist Church by the Revs. L. Scott Woodham, William K. Cross; burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Ben Putnam, Pete Brown, Roy Alley, Frank Quinn, Howard Thomas, Arthur Bridgeman, Buddy Byrd, Luke Warren. Family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at M.W. Bobo Funeral Chapel.
