Flossie May (or Mae) was the daughter of Don Alfonso Lake (or Leake) and Catharine "Kate" Williams. With her mother's consent, she married Loyal Barnhart at St. Mary's, West Virginia on March 4, 1915. After his death, she married Trevy Everett Kimble, a widower with several children, at Parkersburg, West Virginia on April 25, 1924. On March 5, 1925, she gave birth to a son, Merrill (Mearl) Everett Kimble, in Athens County, Ohio. She died from puerperal septicemia on March 14.
