Margie Lucille Dyer, 67
NEWARK - A funeral service for Margie Lucille Dyer, 67, of Newark, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Pastor Dean Harris and Ray Blakely officiating. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens.
Margie was employed by Newark Resident Homes. She passed away on Friday, Sept. 7, 2007, at Genesis Hospice.
She was born March 8, 1940, in West Virginia, to the late Winfred Page and Eula Willis Carr. She was a member of the St. Louisville Christian Church. She enjoyed going to baseball games with her great-grandson, Matthew, as they shared their life together.
She is survived by sons, John (Judy) Dyer of Sunbury, Ohio, and Shane Dyer of Florida; two daughters, Jacqueline Dyer of Newark and Andrea (Steve) Hill of Zanesville; brother, Page "Mack" Carr of Newark; sisters, Louise (Gail) Allen of Bladensburg and Judy (Alva) Knicely of Wilkins Corner; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Louisville Christian Church, 127 Sugar St., St. Louisville, Ohio 43071.
