Funeral services for Marvin George Daufeldt Jr., 53, were held Friday, Nov. 10, 1995, at Leonard Funeral Home, Elkader. Intern Pastor Wayland Middendorf officiated the service with burial in Communia Cemetery, rural Elkader.

Marvin Daufeldt Jr. was born July 8, 1942, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Marvin Sr. and Carla (Christensen) Daufeldt. He graduated from North Scott High School in Elridge, and attended Iowa State University in Ames for three years. For the past number of years he has been living in Waukon. He worked with dairy cattle in preparation for sales or shows. Marvin George Daufeldt Jr. died suddenly Saturday, Nov. 4, 1995, at his home in Waukon.

Survivors include his mother Carla Phend of Elkader; three sisters: Vickie Martzhan and Priscilla Toliver, both of Davenport, and Peney Cmehil of Felicity, Ohio; two brothers: Kelly Phend of Orlando, Fla., and Perry Phend of Orangeville, Ill. He was preceded in death by his father Marvin. Sr, and his stepfather Bud Phend.
