Mrs. Catherine Myton, widow of W.A. Myton, died at her home on Fifth street, Sunday evening, February 14th, at 8 o'clock, following a brief illness. She was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Greenawalt, of McAlevys Fort and was born and raised in Shavers Creek Valley, moving to Huntingdon about thirty years ago at which place she resided since. Her husband died several years ago.
Mrs. Myton was a life long member of the Methodist church. By her quiet and unassuming manner she endeared herself to a host of friends. Surviving are a half brother and a number of nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at her late home, Fifth street, Wednesday morning, Feb. 17th at 10 A.M. with interment in the Mooresville Cemetery. Rev. Shue, the pastor will officiate.
