James W. Boyer, 82, died about noon yesterday while watching television at his rural home near Paris, Mo. He apparently suffered a heart attack. Mr. Boyer had been in ill health for some time.
He was a native of Monroe County, born Dec. 3, 1880. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Misha Shrader; two daughters, Mrs. Harold Hartman of Paris and Mrs. Lewis Taylor of near Paris; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
