Samuel is survived by his wife, Alice ; sons, Brett and wife Lisa, Brent and wife Jane; grandchildren, Rebecca, Robert, Emily, Claire, and William; brother, William and wife Diane; sister, Mayme Colvin and husband Richard, Bird Harris and Husband Louis.
Preceded in death by parents, James O. Sr. and Carrie Burnett Beaty and brothers, Stanley M. and James O. Beaty; and sister, Lela Mae Beaty.
Interment in Houston National Cemetery.
