Hannah retired from ConAgra where she worked for many years. She was a former member of Lebanon Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Gibson enjoyed gardening and flowers. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Hannah was a loving mother, grandmother, great--grandmother, aunt and friend to many who will greatly miss her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Gibson.
Mrs. Gibson is survived by a son, Everett Gibson of Waynesboro; a daughter-in-law, Doris Gibson of Stuarts Draft; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, John Gibson; two daughters, Hazel Anderson and Margie Scott; a daughter-in-law, Angie Gibson; five brothers, Leonard Marshall, Gordon Marshall, Lewis Marshall, William Marshall, and Early Marshall; and three sisters, Ladys Graves, Daisy Gibson and Alma Tomlin.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday August 17, 2013, at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes. Burial will follow at Lebanon Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The Gibson family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2013, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice .
