James Hall Allison was the son of George Bowen Allison and Lottie Maude Austin. He appears on the 1920 and 1930 Census of Wayne Co., MO. He was first married to Alma Lorenzetti and later to Mrs. Flora L. White Nov 21, 1954 in Wayne Co., MO. They had one daughter JoAnn Allison b. Oct 2, 1955

James Hall Allison

James Hall Allison, the son of the late G. B. Allison and
Lottie Austin Allison was born in Chaonia, MO Dec. 3, 1918
and passed away at Poplar Bluff, MO Feb 8, 1975 at the age
of 56 years 2 months and 5 days. He had spend most of his
life in the Wappapello and Puxico area. He was a Veteran of WW II. Nov 27, 1954, he was married to Flora Griffith at Poplar Bluff. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Flora Allison of Rt 2 Puxico, two children. Mrs. Joann Owens of Arnold, MO and Diane Allison of Cupertron, Calif., and Hugh Allison of Vancouver, Wash.; four sisters, Mrs. Sarah Ashbaugh and Mrs. Mary Abernathie, both of Puxico, MO. Mrs. Nellie Holcomb of Yuba City, CA and Mrs. Ida Reed of Sierra Madre, Calif. Also surviving are six step-children, Wanda Hancock of Fenton, MO., Ray White of Barnhart, MO., Betty McCollum of Doniphan, MO., Mary Mays of Chicago, IL., Virginia Samples of St. Louis, MO and Verna Green of Silva. MO. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
Funeral services were held Tuesday. Feb 11, 1975 in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico with Rev Dearl Daughterty of Puxico officiating. Interment in the Puxico, Cemetery.
