BODY OF SIELK FOUND IN RIVER
The body of George Sielk, 51, was recovered from the Spokane river below Millwood by deputy sheriffs yesterday afternoon. Sielk was the husband of Lillian Sielk, 35, whose battered and bruised body was found in the bed of the Sielk's valley home early Friday. County officials believe Sielk murdered his wife and then took his own life early last Tuesday. Dr. D. B. Weir, deputy county coroner, said Sielk's death was caused by drowning. There were no evidences of external injures, he reported.
