Services for Mrs. Vera L. Simmons, 73 of 71 Oregon St., Johnstown who died in University Hospital Columbus, Wednesday March 16, 1966 will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Crouse and son Funeral Home Johnstown. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
She was born in Licking County Jan 22 1893 to Noah and Mary Elizabeth Dolph Simmons. She was a member of the Johnstown Baptist Church and the Licking County Rebekah Lodge, Newark.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Blamer, Columbus, Mrs. Ruth E. Davison, Johnstown and Mrs. Verna B. Peck, Newark, two sons, Ray Simmons and Ernest Simmons both of Johnstown. 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Her Husband Ray Simmons died Feb. 15, 1924.
