Grace Studabaker Claimed By Death
Mrs. Grace Studabaker, 54, died at 8:15 Wednesday evening at her home at 228 East Wiley avenue. Death was attributed to carcinoma following an illness of several weeks.
Born in Jay county May 21, 1897, the decedent was the daughter of James and Mary Nenstiel Warner. She was married in Bluffton Feb. 20, 1916 to Clint Studabaker, who preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 1946.
Mrs. Studabaker was a resident of the county all of her married life and was a member of the Bethel Methodist church.
Surviving are the mother, who resides in Bluffton; three daughters, Mrs. Farrell Taylor, of Bluffton, Mrs. Kenneth Schaffer, of Bluffton route 4, and Betty at home; five sons, Max Studabaker of Keystone route 1, Robert Studabaker, of Bluffton route, Hugh Studabaker, of Bluffton route, James Studabaker, of Kendallville, and Clint Studabaker, Jr., of Fort Wayne; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Baer, of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Goldie Thornton, of California, Mrs. Mary Linker, of Fort Wayne, and 13 grandchildren. One brother and a sister are deceased.
The body will be taken from the Jahn funeral home to the residence where friends may call after Friday noon.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Bethel Methodist church with Rev. E. N. Rosier officiating assisted by Rev. Jewell. Burial will be in the Six Mile cemetery.
