Unity – Arthur M. Bagley, 73, died Tuesday evening, February 7, 1961, at a Burnham nursing home after a long illness. He was born in Troy September 21, 1887, the son of John and Emma (Knowles) Bagley. Mr. Bagley resided in Unity for the past 37 years. He was an employee of Portland Packing Company for many years, retiring several years ago.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Boyle of Portland and Mrs. Marie Reynolds of Burnham; a brother, Fred of Troy; and a grandchild.
Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Donald Shorey Funeral Home in Pittsfield with Rev. Thomas Longstaff of Unity officiating. Friends may call at the funeral chapel today from 2-4 and 7-8. Burial will be made in the spring at Rogers Cemetery in Troy.
