WELCH SERVICES HELD IN HOLMES
William Franklin Welch, 61, of West, died Dec. 23, at the District II Hospital in Durant. Funeral services were held Dec. 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Holmes County with burial in the church cemetery.
Southern Funeral Home of Durant was in charge of arrangements.
The Rev. Harry Jones and the Rev. J.A. McMillan officiated.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Pugh Welch; three daughters: Mrs. Francis W. Kitchersid of Memphis, Mrs. Shelby J. Malone of Kosciusko, and Miss Jewel Elizabeth Welch of West; three sisters: Mrs. T.D. Fultz. Mrs. D.C. O'Briant and Mrs. Loren Green all of West; three brothers: Larkin Welch, Clyde Welch, both of West, and Malcolm Welch of Jackson; four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Doug Green, John Green, Melvin Fultz, Andrew Fultz, Larkin Welch, Jr., Durwood O'Briant, Henry Welch and David Green.
