This is my wife Patty, the Social Security Admin was the first to say to me, my "marrige ended upon her death", IT DIDN'T!   Patty was so very special to me.   My best friend for 40 years and wife for 35 years.   The day I met her I knew she was the special one. Other than her going to the local stores or a day out shopping with her sister we would always go everywhere together.

About six months before she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer we started to talk about how we would spend our old age together and maybe move down to the shore that she loved but didn't go there often enough.   Patty was always busy never slowing down and always there to do something for someone.

If something needed to be fixed she would just fix it and if I said I'll do it she would say but I want to and do it.   When she didn't know how to, it would be just explain what to do and I'll do it.   She was great at doing everything she tried. Painting things was her very favorite thing to do.

After Patty was diagnosed it was 8 months with the last 2 in intensive care.   The chemo and seven surgeries could not help her, she slowed down.

Everyone she met couldn't help but like her including her last days in the hospital.   The nurses would sneak over to her room to see how she was doing that day.

I miss her so much, my life is now empty.
Patty was and still is my girl...
