Miss Frances Bagby, age 73, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 1992. She had been in declining health approximately six years.

She was born on May 19, 1918 in Paulding County, Georgia, were she was a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Joel "Pink" Bagby, Jr. and the late Mrs. Stella J. Roberson Bagby.

Frances was a member of the Dallas First United Methodist Church and she was a Registered Nurse. She served in the the US Army Nursing Corps in World War II.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Mrs. George T. (Ruth) Bagby and Mrs. John E. (Margaret) Bagby, both of Dallas; Four nieces, Judy Bagby, Mrs. Mike (Jane) Scott and Joan McClain, all of Dallas and Mrs. Walter (Lynn) Carl of Carollton; four Newphews, Jeff Bagby, Tommy Bagby, Sam Womack, and Joel Bagby, all of Dallas; several great nieces and nephew.

Funeral Services were conducted on Friday, May 15, 1992 at 2:00 p.m. in Benson's Chapel with Rev. John Cox and Rev. J. E. Wix officiating. Music was rendered by Mrs. DeAnne Cox accompanied by Charles Cole at the piano.

Interment was in Dallas City Cemetery with Bob Bagby, Bill Bagby, Michael Hutcheson, Mike Scott, Jeff Rakestraw and Walter Carl serving as Pallbearers.

Benson Funeral Home was charge of arrangements.
