Caroline Teresa Acker was born in Sulphur Springs, then in Benton County Alabama, and died in Sulphur Springs, Calhoun County Alabama. On 7 Nov 1911 her husband, Jesse, requested a hearing. A jury was selected on the following day and on the 18th of November found that she was "non compos mentis" (not sane) as alleged. Jesse was appointed her guardian. The next month Jesse wrote his will and left everything to Caroline. Jesse died in January 1913 and Caroline followed him in July of the same year.
