Clearfield Progress, Pa., Monday, February 5, 1951 - Glen Richey - Mrs. Amelia N. Hampton, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Leon Selfridge, at 3:45 p.m. Saturday. She was born, August 29, 1879, the daughter of Jacob and Matilda Kephart. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. John Rowles, Olanta, R. D., Mrs. George Zimmerman, Houtzdale., Mrs. Leon Selfridge, Glen Richey., Mrs. Owen Smeal, West Decatur., Gilbert, Utah., Morley, and Morris, Osceola Mills., twenty-five grandchildren, and eight-great-grandchildren, also survive, along with the following brothers, and sisters, Paul Kephart, Osceola Mills., Bruce Kephart, Bethlehem., Mrs. Kate Hallman, Humlock Creek., Mrs. Edith Preston, and Mrs. Lottie Socey, Altoona., Her husband Stacey Hampton, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 7, at the home, at 2 p.m. and at the United Brethren Church, at Sanborn, at 2:30 p.m. services will be in charge of Rev. Lloyd Mullhollen, and interment will be in the Church Cemetery, at Sanborn. Friends may call at her home, until time of the services, on Wednesday.
