Kenneth L. Wait, age 71, of Otsego passed away Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007 at his home. Mr. Wait was born Sept. 29, 1936 in Kalamazoo the son of Donald and Wilma (Green) Wait. He was a member of the 1954 Gobles State Basketball champion team, retired from Independent Elevator Co. of Kalamazoo. He enjoyed winters in Okeechobee, FL and loved fishing and golf. Surviving are his wife, Sally, whom he married May 16, 1958; three children, Jerry (Paula) Wait of Colorado; Kathy (Jim) Tessar of Paw Paw; Cindy Jo (Ken Nienhouse) Wait of Grand Haven; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, one sister, Judy (Charley) Huffman of NC. The family will meet friends Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Gobles Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 1:00 PM at the Bloomingdale Christian Church, Pastor Bill Napp officiating. Interment Kendall Cemetery.
