Ethelene Spain, 61 of Dardanelle, formerly of Marianna died Thursday February 26, 2009. She was born April 6, 1947 in Boxley, Arkansas to the late Orvid Strode and Delma Bowen Strode. She was the widow of Odis Ray "Bo" Spain, a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church in Marianna.

She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Wilson and her husband James of Pocahontas and Rhobin Bright and her husband Richard of Dardanelle, step-son, Mark Spain of Des Arc, two sisters, Anna Mae Sills of Dardanelle and Yvonne Meek of Kenai, Alaska, two brothers, Ray Dean Strode and William Strode both of Moro, three grandchildren, Kirsten and Zac Wilson and Sydnie Summers, two step-grandchildren, Amber Baumgarner and Nathan Spain. She was preceded in death by her sister Rhonda Gertrude Strode.

Services are 2 p.m. Saturday February 28, 2009 at the First Christian Church in Marianna with burial in Marianna Memorial Park Cemetery, with Bro. Gary Anderson and Bro. Mike Smith officiating. Arrangements by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Conway.
