MICHAEL ANDREW COUNCILL C&P Supervisor Michael Andrew Councill, 44, an employee of Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Co., in Washington since 1966, and a supervisor since 1979, died May 14 of a heart ailment at his home in Alexandria. Mr. Councill was born in Washington and grew up in Arlington and Baileys Crossroads. He was a graduate of J.E.B. Stuart High School in Falls Church and Strayer Business College. He joined C&P as a telephone installer and repairman in 1966. Before becoming a test-assist supervisor in January, he had been a supervisor of cable cutovers and installations and repairs. Mr. Councill was a member of the Arlington Baptist Church where he was a teller, usher and secretary of the Sunday School. From 1966 to 1970, he was a member of the Naval Air Reserve. Survivors include his wife, Linda Councill of Alexandria; four children, Michele Councill and Michael Andrew Councill Jr., both of Alexandria, and Mindee Councill and Mark Councill, both of Stanley, Va.; his mother, Dorothy F. Councill of Alexandria, and a sister, Patricia C. Watson of Lorton, Va.
