He was born and died in Hartford, Conn. ; Bildad Gibbons (1759-1839) served as private in Capt. William Cannon's company, Col. David Leonard's regiment, which marched to Ticonderoga, 1777. He was born and died in Granville, Mass. ; “See No.”–Indicates a reference to that number in the same volume. ; “Also No.”–Indicates the National Number of a “Daughter” who has entered the Society on the same ancestor and whose lincage has been published in a former volume. This is done to link together widely separated families.
