Services for William Lunie Brigham, 85, were held at the New Hope Church officiated by Rev. William F. Rogan, Presbyterian minister of Stamford. Mr. Brigham was a Presbyterian and a retired farmer.
Mr. Brigham moved to Jones County from Hill County in 1888. He was preceded in death by two wives, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Survived by two sons - W.E. and H.F. Brigham; six daughters - Mrs. Lennie Tarlton, Mrs. Clara Southard, Mrs. O.M. Woodson, Mrs. J.M. Rogers, Mrs. W.L. Hopkins, Mrs. Johnny Reid; two sisters - Mrs. Lizzie Bryant and Mrs. Ann Hodge; 44 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
