MONROE - Carvel V. Magleby, 72, passed away July 16, 2006, at his home due to complications from cancer.
He was born July 14, 1934 in Salina, to Victor and Emily Almeda Bagley Magleby.
He married Jerry Lee Tiner in Scotland, April 18, 1958. They later divorced. He married Bobbie Lucille Sisco in Richfield, April 15, 1969. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS temple. She preceded him in death May 1, 1991. He later married Vaudis Nielson Bingham in the Manti LDS temple May 27, 1993.
Carvel retired as a lieutenant colonel from the U.S. Air Force, where he served for 23 years. He also worked as the executive director for the Six County Association of Governments for 16 years.
Carvel loved to travel and spend the winter in Arizona. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, fishing, four-wheeling and being at his ranch. He was an avid horseman and a cowboy at heart.
He is survived by his wife, Vaudis, Monroe; children, Scott (Karla) Magleby, Fruit Heights; Brett (Dione) Magleby, Holladay; Craig Magleby, New Orleans, La.; Wayne (Lisa) Jackson, Rancho Cordova, Calif.; Lori (Frank) Napoli, Las Vegas; Lynette Clayton, Las Vegas; Lyle Bingham, Lewiston; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Carol (John) Stewart, St. George; and brother, Max (Monica) Anderson, Richfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 21, at 1 p.m. in the Central LDS ward in Annabella.
