JOHN E. KEGLEY, farmer, Wyoming Twp., Sec. 33; P.O. Wyoming; born November 15, 1826, in Wythe Co, Va.; in 1852, came to Jackson Co.; in 1867, he removed to his present farm; owns 215 acres of land. Married Sarah J. Ward in September, 1852; she was born in Wythe Co., Va.; have seven children—Florence (now Mrs. Babcock), Alice V. (now Mrs. Trimble), John W., Eletha E., Oregon M., Gertrude and James R. Republican. Member of the Lutheran Church.

Died of Consumption.
